Can Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier w/ 2 Inch Receiver Hold Cargo Carrier
Question:
I have a 2016 Sprinter Van 3500 PleasureWay RV with a Stow-a-way carrier box on the back. I want to add a dually tire/wheel for a spare. I just wanted to verify that I can mount this Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier AND the Stow-a-way box and carry it as well. Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Yes you can; the hitch-mounted Roadmaster spare tire carrier will indeed allow you to mount your cargo carrier directly in its 2 inch receiver. The correct part number for this spare tire carrier is the following:
- Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier w/ 2" Receiver Opening # RM-195225
You just need to make sure the tongue weight - the weight of your cargo carrier and its contents - does not exceed 400 lbs. That's unlikely, even for an enclosed cargo carrier, but I did want to mention just in the interest of being thorough.
