Replacement Converter for Magnetek Model 80
Question:
my magnetek model 80 is putting out 16.5 volts to lead acid deep cycle batteries. only 1 battery at this time. is that voltage too high? it doesnt reduce chargeing voltageto maintenance level. is there a circuit board that needs replacing? or does it need a complete replacement? it is in a 1997 Kit Companion 22ft TT.

It sounds like the converter will need to be replaced. If this is a separate converter then we have some great options for replacement based on the amp rating. The Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Charger part # PD9280A is a great option for example with a 80 amp hour rating.
