Mounting Bolt Pattern and Center Hole Diameter For Dexter Trailer Brake Assemblies 23-248 and 23-429

Question:

What is the diameter of the center hole on the # 23-429, and 23-428 brake assembly? I am trying to replace my 23-369 and 23-370 brakes with a 9 hole mounting plates? Any information or ideas to repair or replace my brakes without replacing my axels would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

The Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Assembly # 23-429 & # 23-428 have a center opening of 3-7/8" for fitting on the axle tube. It will mount to bolt holes that are 3-5/8" spread left to right and 4-3/8" top to bottom. I have included images below with both measurements to help you identify the fitment. We also have them as a Set # 23-428-429 since you will will being replacing them on multiple axles. If these will not fit your current axles please let me know your mounting pattern and the center hole diameter required.
