How to Lift a Tandem Axle Trailer w/ Springs Already Above the Axle
Question:
I have a 2021 Open Range 314RLS 5th wheel with Dexter D60 tandem axles with springs mounted top of axle and need a 3 inch lift kit. Can you recommend a product that will fit?

Expert Reply:
Since your leaf springs are already on top of your axle the only way to lift it any higher is to use the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit item # RR23QX. The brackets attach to your spring hangers and supply new lower mounting point for the springs. This process lifts your trailer up and gives it a taller ride height. You will be limited to 2-1/4". There is no other way to lift your trailer and they don't make any longer brackets.
