Canoe Carrier For Roof Of a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan To Carry a 38" Wide Canoe With 37" Factory Bars
Question:
looking for a rooftop canoe carrier on a 2019 dodge grand caravan gt. Problem is canoe is 38 in. wide and the cross bars on the factory roof rack are only 37 in. Will the side rails on the factory rack need to be removed and start from a bare roof? Or are there wider cross bars that will fit to the exsisting factory side rails? Thankyou

I recommend using the Lockrack Adjustable XL Watersport Carrier # LR54FR to carry you canoe on the roof of your 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan GT. This will allow you to use your factory cross bars that are only 37" wide to carry your kayak as there is not an aftermarket setup that is confirmed to work with your factory rails. The carrier will fit bars up to 3" wide and 1-3/8" tall.
