Replacement Bars for Fastway e2 Weight Distribution

Question:

I have a 2015 F250, 6.7 diesel. Our trailer is 7,000lbs loaded Hitch weight is about 900 loaded I currently have the e2 round bar set up. I was making changes to the brackets about a year ago when I got interrupted for another project. I forgot To go back and complete the changes I was working on. We hooked up the trailer for a 300 mile trip. The trailer swayed back and forth all they way down and back. Even as I added washers to the hitch. When I got back I removed the propane shroud to find I had one bracket higher than the other. While this could have been my issue for sway, could I have bent the bar that had more tension? If so do you guys sell the bars only?

Based on your tongue weight it sounds like you have the # FA94-00-1061. It is possible you bent a bar depending on how you had your brackets. You should be able to tell if it is bent with a simple inspection since the bar is straight with the exception of the bend where it curves up to attach to the head.

If you need replacement bars we have the # FA94-02-1099. These are rated for 600-1,000 lbs of tongue weight. If your current system is not the # FA94-00-1061, then I would recommend replacing both spring bars so you have the appropriate rating for that 900 lb tongue weight.
