You'll need to put a protective coating between the Lippert Bolt-On Shock Kit w/ Heavy Duty Gas Shocks # LC281255 mounting kit and your aluminum trailer frame to help prevent corrosion but you'll have to keep a close eye on it as well and catch anything before it starts.
An alternative to this would be using an upgraded equalizer kit instead which will help with ride quality but will be connected to the hanger on your trailer frame. Something like the Equa-Flex # LC279687 will do a great job if your current equalizer matches the 5-1/2" side to side and 2-1/2" top to bottom specs matched on the product page. This wouldn't be the same as the shock kit but it would offer a ride quality upgrade and would be touching the hanger as opposed to the trailer frame.
