Is a Car Lift Required to Install Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver on 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback

Question:

The video displayed is helpful, but the mechanic has the vehicle lifted well off the ground with lots of room to maneuver. Is it possible to install without lifting the car off the ground? Also at 7:59 in the video he has a very long extension. Is this really required or can I get a drill up in there by hand? Thanks.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11567 does not require a lift for installation. It can be installed on the ground in your driveway or garage. This hitch is in fact easier to install with the vehicle on the ground as most of what is being done is behind the bumper and not under the vehicle.

In regards to tools needed, an extension is not required but will make things easier.
