Trailer Hitch For 2017 Chevy Equinox & Will Rhino-Rack T-Load Support Allow Hatch to Open
Question:
I have a 2017 chevy equinox with a hatch back trunk. I have rhino racks on top of my vehicle. I am interested in the T-Load Assist and support bar. What kind of hitch would be required and would I be able to open my hatch trunk while T-bar is in place at the lowest movable angle?

Let's start off with the hitch for your 2017 Chevy Equinox, and you'll need a 2" trailer hitch receiver for the Rhino-Rack T-Load Hitch Mounted Load Assist and Support Bar for 2" Hitches # RTL002. The correct part for that is the following:
- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98865
As for opening your hatch, you will be able to so long as the # RTL002 is at the lowest possible angle like you said.
