Replacement Bolt-On Swivel Jack for Boat Trailer

Question:

I need advice on choosing a trailer jack for my boat trailer, its a very light boat but I do want a swivel wheel that doesnt seize up. The current jack puts the trailer about 19 inches above the ground and is maybe a little over 2 feet with everything retracted. It is held on by a flat plate up against the side of the tongue with two nuts and bolts on the top and two nuts and bolts on the bottom. The tongue is 3 x 3 It is the kind that you can pull a D shaped handle and then you can turn the jack to be parallel to the ground and it locks in place. Thanks

For a replacement for your boat trailer jack I recommend the Fulton Round, Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack # FTJ12000101. This jack has a bracket height of 13" when retracted and 23" when extended for a total lift of 10". The overall height of the jack will be at 2' just like your existing jack.

This features a bolt on installation and a pull pin which will allow it to swivel and sit parallel to the frame for storage while towing. The jack also fits up to a 3" x 5" trailer tongue so you won't have any issues mounting it. It has a Z-Max 600 finish for a 600-hour salt spray rating and comes with a limited 3-year warranty.
