Parts Needed to Install the Tow Pro Liberty in a 2013 Chevy Silverado 3500
Question:
I have a 2013 Silverado Z71 LT. I want to purchase a Redarc brake controller, but I cant find the proper wiring harness. I did some research and I think the wires may need to be hard wired because there is not a plug under the dash. Can you please confirm?

I can confirm that there is a plug in adapter and the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty item # RED24FR is compatible with your 2013 Chevy Silverado 3500. I have linked a picture below that will show you where the port is on your Chevy Silverado. This port only came on the Silverado's with the factory tow package. To complete the installation you will need the Plug-In Adapter item # 331-TPH-010. If you do not have the tow package you will need to hardwire the controller using the Universal Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers item # RED69FR.
