Speed Rating for Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8 Galvanized Wheel
Question:
Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8 Galvanized Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range B Item # AM30010 The description mentions high speeds. How fast can a trailer be towed using these tires? What is the proper inflation pressure? I see the max pressure to obtain max carry capacity. What should tire pressure be if tires carry less than 50 of load capacity.

The Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" Galvanized Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range B # AM30010 has a max speed rating of 65 mph which is becoming more of a standard for trailer tires.
You always want to run trailer tires at max psi capacity which will be stated on the sidewall - for both tires mentioned above that would be 60 psi. The only exception is when the trailer tire manufacturer comes out with a table showing what different weights different psi ratings can handle, but these tables are few and far between which is why it's always best to go with the sidewall rating.
