Trailer Hitch Receiver & Wiring Harness For 2022 Hyundai Tucson

Question:

I have a 2022 Hyundai Tuscon SEL and am looking to get this hitch kit. Do I need to buy a wiring harness or does the Hyundai already have that available on the car?

The 4-way wiring harness does not come as standard with a 2022 Hyundai Tucson so you'd need to add one to go with the trailer hitch. It's really simple though as all you have to do is plug the harness in. The correct fits for your '22 Tucson are the following:

- Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT22MR

- Vehicle Wiring Harness # CU94FR

There will be a plug under your Tucson, behind the bumper on the driver's side (it may be behind a removable plastic panel). All you will do is plug the harness in, and then you can very easily mount it directly to the mounting tab on the Draw-Tite hitch using Mounting Bracket # 18144.
