Can 2017 Subaru Forester Tow Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer with Kayak Carriers
Question:
Ive read and enjoyed QandA about kayak trailers. I recently had a L1010SG611 trailer hitch installed to my 2017 Forester for a Thule bike rack. Its a Class 1, 176 lb. tongue weight receiver, unless I am mistaken. Will this receiver and hitch tow the Yakima Rack and Roll 78 with 4 sea kayaks? Thanks!

The Yakima Rack and Roll trailer part # Y08107 that you referenced is really lightweight at only 160 lbs. Based on the tongue weight capacity you mentioned your towing setup would easily have enough capacity for this trailer weight plus the weight of your 4 sea kayaks.
For a kayak carrier that could carry two of your kayaks at a time the Thule Compass part # TH890000 would be a really great option as well that is compatible with the Rack and Roll trailer.
