Troubleshooting Loss of 12V Power From Class C Motorhome to Towed Vehicle
Question:
The electrical tow connection from my Thor Quantum 31ws has stopped providing the trickle charge to my Flat tow dinghy car and the car is completely dead after 2-3 hours of flat tow. Where can I find the fuses to check in the Ford cab, and should this connect just thru the Truck, or just thru the House Inverter and associated fuse panel, or both? Please help.

For a Class C motorhome you should find the fuses in the same locations you'd find them on a truck - in a fuse panel under the hood and/or near the cockpit behind a removable panel. Typically things like a trickle charge can be found under the hood although you'll need to confirm this on your end.
If your fuses look good then you'll want to use a circuit tester to see where along your OEM wiring that 12V power is lost. Once you find the damaged wiring go ahead and replace it with 10 Gauge Wire # 10-1-1 and Heat Shrink Butt Connectors # DW05745-5 for better protection against the elements.
