Recommended Replacement 5,200 Pound Axle for Extreme Boat Trailer

Question:

I have a single axle boat trailer with tortion bar suspension made by Extreme. The tortion bar suspension spun so I believe I need to replace the axle. The Hub Face is 93 and 74 outside bracket. Its a 4 plus tube size? I was told to look for Dexter and that it was originally UFP. I need 5200 lb capacity. The axle has a dip in the middle to make room for the boat. Can you recommend / provide a part.

While we may have an option for you, if you are strictly looking for a 5200 pound axel that has a dip in the middle, we do not carry any axle beams that have that specific dip you need. With that being said, a great option is the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System # TASR5200S05. Since the axle-less system comes does not come with a crosstube, you do not need to worry about the axle interfering with the trailer/boat. As far as installation, the Timbrens can be bolted or welded directly onto your trailer's frame. It also provides you with a superior ride than a traditional axle bar because the left and right side react independently to changes/bumps in the terrain.

If you need the hub/drum assemblies as well, those are the # 8-201-9UC3-EZ.

I went ahead and attached some helpful demo videos of these products for your convenience.
