Adapter Recommendations for Converting a 4-Way to a 7-Way on a 2003 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
Can I use this on a 2003 Toyota Tacoma if I was going to replace the current 4 flat adapter on the truck now?

What you would need to convert the 4-way on your 2003 Toyota Tacoma to a fully-functional 7-way is the Universal 4-Way to 7-Way Adapter # ETBC7. This will give you all the functions of a 7-way. I attached installation instructions for this product for you to check out also.
If all you need is tail light functions, and the trailer does not have trailer brakes you could just get an 4-Way to 7-Way Adapter # 37185. This would just plug into the 4-way on your vehicle and would convert just the tail light signals to a 7-way.
