Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2000 Volvo Day Cab Towing a Car Hauler

I own a 2000 Volvo day cab that I will be pulling a 3 car hauler with electric brakes is it necessary for me to install a brake controller and will the king pin on my car hauler fit my day cab?

To answer both of your questions quickly, yes and yes.
Since the trailer has electric brakes you will need a brake controller to activate and control the brakes of your trailer. Not only is this the safest option, it is the only way to legally tow that trailer.
For a brake controller we recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885. This is one of our best selling controllers because of how well it works and how easy it is to install. I attached installation instructions for this product for you to check out also.
The king pin should match up just fine also.
