Will Ventline Manual Trailer Roof Vent # V2092SP-28 Fit a 1990 Jayco Tent Trailer

Hi! Can you tell me if this part will fit a 1990 Jayco tent trailer? And, also, will it replace the entire vent? Thank you!

The Jayco website does not offer online owners manuals for units produced before 2003 but the Ventline Ventadome unit you reference, part # V2092SP-28, is intended for trailers having a rough roof vent opening of 14-1/4 x 14-1/4 inches. The linked video will help illustrate this item.

This Ventline product is a complete roof vent consisting of the white polypropylene dome, galvanized steel mounting flange, removable screen, interior trim ring and knob for manual vent operation. The interior trim ring included is suitable for trailer roofs between 1-7/8-inches and 3-inches thickness, but if the roof of your Jayco is thicker we do also offer deeper trim rings: # VA0445-35 is 3-1/8-inches deep and # VA0445-37 is 5-1/8-inches deep.

The unit does not include the mounting screws or sealer that are required for proper installation but we do offer an install kit for it, part # 344270KITW. This kit will allow secure and water-tight installation.
