Yes, a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 can safely handle pulling a 5th wheel trailer with those ratings.
The correct 5th wheel hitch will depend on the length of your truck bed.
6-1/2' bed: B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3270 (the slider will provide the turning clearance you will need for your short bed truck)
8' bed: B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3255
Both of these hitch options will install using the B&W Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit # BWRVR3200. They are sourced and made in the USA and have 3/4" thick dual jaws that provide 360-degree jaw-to-king-pin contact for less rattle and more security than slide-bar jaws.
You can also add the Draw-Tite 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness # 20110 to make hooking up your 5th wheels wiring easier. This wiring harness will move a 7-way connector into the bed of your truck while retaining the use of the 7-way at the rear of your truck.
