Question:
I blew out my tire a 195/75/R14. I put on the spare found out the spare is actually bigger than the two tires that were on the trailer. 205/75/R14. I need to know from you what is acceptable and what isn’t

As the 195/75R14 is not a common trailer tire size that we carry I wonder if that is the correct tire size for your boat trailer. The Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10235 is approximately 5/8" taller and 3/8" wider than the 195/75R14 you currently have on your trailer. Since you already have the spare on your trailer you can measure the clearances to determine if there is enough clearance. It is recommended to have 1" of clearance from your sidewalls to the frame or any other portions of fenders. You also want to ensure you have 3" of vertical travel above the tire to allow for the suspension to compress.
