Trying to grease a bull dog screw on my landing jack was wondering if the cap on the end of the screw comes off so I can slip tubing up the screw from the bottom

I went ahead and checked the Replacement Screw, Nut, and Bearing Assembly for Bulldog Tandem Landing Gear for the Bulldog 2-Speed Tandem Landing Gear Set, and that nut is actually not removeable.
To properly grease your drive screw, you're going to want to:
1. First remove the screws and cover on the top of the jack.
2. Then, pull back the retaining spring and push the pin down on the top gear.
3.Rotate the jack handle 180 degrees and pull out the pin that was pushed down in step 2.
4. Then, remove the cross shaft, spring, top gear, bushing, and lift out the bottom gear.
5. Continue by sliding out the cross pin and removing the washer as well.
6. Now what you'll need to do is raise the trailer enough to allow for the inner tube and drop leg to be removed.
7. Now, remove the inner tube and drop leg assembly and pull out the two retaining pins to free the screw-nut assembly.
8. Apply a liberal amount of grease on the screw above and below the nut, and below and above the bearing.
9. Finally, reinstall the screw-nut assembly, and the drop leg and inner tube in reverse order, applying grease to all mating surfaces.
