Gen-Y Ramp Recommendation for 10K Crown C-5 Forklift

Question:

We are very interested in purchasing these ramps so we can drive our forklift Crown C-5 into our factory. Forklift is 10,000 lbs. Will these ramps hold this weight?

The Gen-Y Hitch Aluminum Loading Ramp Set - 96" Long x 15" Wide # 325-GH-R96 have a combined weight capacity of 10,000 lbs. As long as your Crown C-5 forklift does not exceed this weight capacity they will be able to handle the 10K weight.

In all honesty though I'm not a fan of max-in out the weight capacity of anything so since you're right at the max rating of this ramp set I recommend going with the Gen-Y Hitch Aluminum Loading Ramp Set - 120" Long x 15" Wide # GY52YR instead because it's a little longer and has a higher weight capacity at 14,000 lbs. This means the angle of the ramps will be lower and you can breath easy that you aren't stressing your ramps out as much each time you use them.
