Coupler Mounted Bike Rack for a 2020 Keystone Passport SL Series Travel Trailer Reciever

Question:

Im looking to add a hitch to the rear of a 2020 Keystone Passport SL Series Travel Trailer. This would be used to carry a bike rack and not for towing. I do have the factory mounted motor controlled levers at the rear of the trailer.Do you have any recommendations? Thank You

I have a solution for you but seeing how your factory leveling system spans the entire rear of your 2020 Keystone Passport SL Series Travel Trailer you're not going to be able to go with a hitch. There will be no where to mount one securely enough to support your bike rack and bikes. I recommend the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers - 2"-100 lbs item # CC-275. This carrier is designed for use with 2" hitch-mounted bike racks that are approved for use behind an RV. It fits A-frames with widths between 12" - 52". The distance from the top of your trailer's frame to the top of cross tube is 33-1/2" so this will still give you plenty of space for your coupler mounted accessories. I have linked a picture below that will show you how this bike rack works.

If you don't already have a bike rack and would like an all in one combo then you should go with the Jack-It 2 Bike Rack for A-Frame Trailers - 22-1/2" Jack Clearance item # LC429756. This rack attaches directly to the mounting point your jack does and extends above to provide a rack capable of carrying two bikes.
