Will Yakima RidgeBack Bike Carrier Fit a Class I Trailer Hitch on a 2013 VW Beetle Convertible
Question:
I like the Yakima Y02457 bike rack for 2 bikes, but I see that it says Class 2 and 3 compatible. Will that bike rack work with a Class 1 hitch?

Class II accessories such as Yakima RidgeBack, # Y02457, will not fit a Class I trailer hitch. They physically are not compatible. This is done primarily to help prevent overloading a Class I trailer hitch. For a similar rack that is Class I compatible I recommend the Thule Camber # TH9058.
