Timbren Axle-Less System With Lift & Brakes for Little Guy Silver Shadow Trailer
Question:
I have a 2011 Little Guy Silver Shadow 5x10. It has the AL-KO torsion axle and I am looking to upgrade. I need to put a modest lift on it and also want it to accommodate brakes. Could you help with a parts list? Thank you for your help!

We can definitely get your Little Guy Silver Shadow an upgrade to replace your torsion axle, and I recommend going with the Timbren Axle-Less Suspension System. They give you an improved ride compared to a traditional through-axle because they work independently, so if there is a bump on one side of the road it won't rattle your entire trailer, and they have progressive springs that absorb shock better than a traditional axle.
The lightest-duty option is a 2,000 lb system, which is enough for your trailer, and can also accommodate a lift. Here is exactly what you'll need for the system as well as a hub and brakes:
- Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - 4" Lift Spindle # ASR2KHDS04
- Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 84546UC3-EZ
- Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA
- Mounting Hardware # BRKH10B
