Recommended Trailer Hitch for a 2017 KIA Forte 5 Door Hatchback
Question:
Will this fit a Forte 5 door hatchback?

I have a solution for you but the item # C11368 hitch you were looking at will not fit the hatchback model of your 2017 Kia Forte. Instead you will want the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C11395. This hitch is custom fit and bolts directly to your Kia with included hardware. It has the same capacity as the hitch you were looking at.
If you need a wiring harness to control your trailer or accessories lighting functions you will want the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # C56228. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located in your trunk, behind the tail lights.
For a ball mount you'd need the Draw-Tite Drawbar item # 3593 and then for hitch balls item # 19258 for a 2 inch ball or item # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
