Correct Replacement Bearings and Brakes for AL-KO 5,200 Lb Axle On US Cargo Trailer
Question:
I have a 2008 us cargo trailer. I want all new bearings and brake shoes. I came across this https://www.etrailer.com/question-148840.html How do I know if these will work? If it will work, what are the brakes I would need for these axles, electric brakes. Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
If the trailer uses an AL-KO 5,200 Lb Axle then we know it will use the Trailer Bearing Kit part # BK3-100. If you're also looking for brake shoes, the only option we could offer is new assemblies like the Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-6.
In order to confirm it will be best to verify the bearing diameters, brake mounting pattern, and brake drum size via measuring.
