Can Heat Strip be Added to Advent Air AC For Coleman Set Up

Question:

Hello, I am looking to replace my Coleman Mach Air Conditioner on a living quarters horse trailer. I see that the Advent Air ACCOL150B is listed as a direct replacement, but Id like to add on a heat strip if possible. Can this be done with this particular unit? My current thermostat also controls a propane furnace on the heat setting, Im assuming with both an electric heat strip and the propane furnace I would need a separate thermostat or at least a specific one with both options? My question then is can you advise what the best way to replace my current Coleman Mach air conditioner while also add an electrical heat strip? Im okay if I also have to add or change other components. Thanks

There is not a way to add a heat strip to the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup w/ Start Capacitor - 15,000 Btu - Black # ACCOL150B.

The reason why is the Advent Heat Strip # ACMHD is controlled only by the Advent air distribution box, cannot be controlled by a thermostat, and simply allows AC's fan to blow air over the heat strip, as opposed to any type of temperature setting being available.
