Hub Bore Size for 6K Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly
Question:
My wheels are hub centric. Can you tell me the center bore shoulder diameter? Thank you!

Expert Reply:
The hub bore diameter close to the base of the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 6,000-lb Axles # 42655UC1 is just over 3-1/2".
Please note that the hub you're asking about is a lug-centric hub which means it has the studs in place and your wheel slides over those and is secured using lug nuts similar to how you install a vehicle wheel. Since your application calls for hub-centric hubs you probably need something more like the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 6,000-lb Axles # 42660UC1 instead. This is designed for agricultural purposes, fits a 6 on 6" bolt pattern, and has a hub bore about 3-1/2" in diameter as well.
Attached are review videos of each for you to check out.
