I have a great tow bar lighting solution that does fit your 2022 Ford Escape but the Blue Ox kit you mentioned only fits Wranglers. Instead the best option we have would be the Roadmaster diode kit part # RM-152-98146-7. This is a diode kit that does require splicing in diodes on your taillight circuits but we had chance to install this kit on a similar 22' Escape and shot an install video which I attached to this page that will walk you through the entire process.
