What Size Wire Is Needed for Dexter 7,000 Lb Electric Trailer Brake Kit
Question:
I recently purchased the aforementioned dexter brakes from your company. I will be installing them next weekend, I am trying to gather the miscellaneous items for the installation, what size wire is on the brakes so that I can purchase the correct connectors to connect my trailer wiring?

In order to power the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # 23-180-181 you'll want to run the 10 Gauge Primary Wire part # 10-1-1 (Sold by Foot). In order to make the connections I recommend the Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connectors part # DW05745-5.
