Troubleshooting An Advent Air For Carrier Air V Unit That Won't Power On And Run
Question:
Yeah I replaced my care V with the Advent air plug and play everything is plugged in and it will come on and then it wont come on so its not overheating cuz it doesnt run long enough I just dont I have two of them one of them is running fine in the bedroom but the living room one is not running at all I cant get it in the green light and the red light are flickering so Im just trying to figure out what I can do its getting hot in my customer is bitching

My first thought would be the power source since you're trying to run two units. If you're not hooked up to 50 amp service then the units aren't going to properly operate. Next I would check the wiring connections to make sure they are secure and that there isn't any damage to the wires. Make sure you have a proper ground as this is a very typical cause for electronic malfunctions.
Another issue could just be that the controller in the Carrier Air V distribution box is malfunctioning and would need to be replaced. Since the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Carrier Setup # ACCAR150 plugs into this controller to operate you could try to find a new Carrier Air controller and just replace this part.
If that's not an option then you would need to replace the thermostat and distribution box with # ACRG15. This would need to be done for both units unfortunately since these are for single zone use only.
