Adding Height to Suspension of 2005 Haulmark Transport DLX with 7k Axles
Question:
I recently purchased a 2005 7K lbs Dual Axel Haulmark Transport DLX Enclosed trailer at auction and noticed the backend is really low to the ground, even without a load. I have discovered the previous owners did not maintain their trailers, even to replace blown bulbs or non-working electric brakes. Other than doing a standard Over to Under conversion, should I replace the springs or any other hardware at the same time? Also, should I lower the fenders

Take a look at the leaf springs of the trailer. If they look flat instead of bowed up on the ends that would indicate that they are worn out and replacing them would restore lost height. We only have one leaf spring with more than the 7k axle rating you have now with the Dexter Leaf Spring part # DX74XR which is for a 8k axle and is 24-7/8 inches in length.
Otherwise an over under kit part # K71-385-00 would give you a lift of 3 inches plus the thickness of the leaf spring pack your trailer has.
