Can 6 Gallon Water Heater Replace 10 Gallon Water Heater
Question:
I have to replace my GC10A-3E Atwood water heater for my RV. I’m having troubles finding it and I saw that you had said it was discontinued. Would I be able to replace mine with a 6 gallon? What would you recommend for that?

The Atwood water heaters are now all but gone as they are no longer in business, and yes, you can replace your 10 gallon GC10A-3E with a 6 gallon, as it will fit into your compartment. What you can use is the following:
- Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC74FR
The # DMC74FR is a 6 gallon gas/electric water heater that measures 12-3/4" tall x 12-3/4" wide x 19-7/8" deep so it is smaller than your current heater to fit right in as a replacement.
