Sliding Base Needed To Convert A B&W Companion OEM For Ford Prep Package To A Sliding Hitch

I have the Companion hitch for the ford puck system 2022 f250. Can I buy the slider and use some of my companion hitch head or base? I have the pin box wedge system but didnt have good luck hitching up with it. Thank you!

Yes, you can replace the base of your B&W Companion OEM 5th-Wheel Hitch for Ford Super Duty Prep Package # BWRVK3300 with the Replacement Slider Base for B&W OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Ford Towing Prep Package # BWRVB3370 to switch it to a sliding hitch.

You'll need to make sure you lockout your rotating pin box so that you don't have two pivot points while towing your trailer. You'll also have less turning clearance since this will only have 12" of travel compared to the 22" of travel with a rotating pin box so you'll want to pay extra attention when making turns until you get used to the new hitch.
