What PSI Should Westlake ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w 15" Silver Mod Wheel # LHAW124 Inflate to
Question:
I have these tires on my travel trailer. Max rated is 80 psi. Should I run these at 80 psi. Is 80 psi the cold rating?

Expert Reply:
Trailer tires need to be ran at their max psi rating to ensure you get the full capacity and speed rating. Otherwise the tire will most likely fail early due to heat build up. So for the Westlake ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" Silver Mod Wheel # LHAW124 you'd want to fill up to 80 psi when cold and you'd be good. No need to worry about psi changes due to temp changes either.
