Recommend Hitch for a 2021 Forest River Sandpiper 5th Wheel

I need a hitch to go on the back of my 5th wheel camper, 2021 Sandpiper 321RL. I want to be able to hook up a swivel wheel trailer to haul my golf cart. What hitch do you recommend?

I would be happy to help you find a hitch receiver to haul your golf cart. The first thing you will need to do is measure the frame width of your 2021 Forest River Sandpiper 5th Wheel. The Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs item # C13704, you were looking at, will fit frame widths of 22" to 66" and has a GTW of 5000lbs and TW of 500lbs. This hitch won't work with a swivel wheel but you will be able to use a standard trailer with it. You will need a specially made hitch available from the manufacturer to use a Swivel Wheel.

If your frame is wider than 66" you will want the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs item # 13703 which is compatible with frame widths of 22" to 72".

To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
