Do Factory Mud-Flaps on a 2012 Toyota Highlander have to be Removed to Install Running Boards
Question:
I have front and rear factory mud flaps on my truck,do I have to remove the front ones to b able to fit the step bars.

I checked the installation details for the Westin Sure-Grip running boards, # 27-6125-1855, for your 2012 Toyota Highlander and they do not exclude models with mud-flaps or state that they have to be removed for the installation of the running boards. However, it is possible there still could be some interference because of slight variations amongst vehicles.
