Does The Noco Genius 10 Always Start In Standby Mode
Question:
First time to use this charger. Followed all the connection instructions. When I plugged the charger to the electrical outlet, the charger immediately started charging not started in a standby mode and in just few seconds, the charging led lights changed from the 3 reds into green. Is this indicative the charger is defective?

There is nothing wrong with your NOCO Genius Smart Battery Charger - AC to DC - 6V/12V - 10 Amp, part # 329-GENIUS10. I spoke with a representative from NOCO. When you plug in this battery charger, it will go into standby mode if it is not hooked up to a battery or if it does not recognize the battery. In this instance, the battery was recognized and the charge started immediately.
