Green Light on Tekonsha Voyager Stays On with Trailer Connected and Truck Turned Off

Is this normal and if so how much power does it draw?

The Voyager brake controller # 39510 should go to sleep after about 15 minutes of it not sensing any movement. If you park and turn off the truck and come back after 15 minutes, look in the window and the light should be off. But even if it does not turn off the controller in this state is only drawing 5 milliamps current from tow vehicle. It would take over 10,000 hours to drain the tow vehicle battery at that rate.
