Is Brake Controller Wiring Adapter the Same for a 2005 Ford F-150 to a 2011 Ford F-150

Would the connector on a 2005 and 2011 Ford F-150 be the same under the dash for a trailer brake connector?

It looks like the brake controller wiring adapters for a 2005 Ford F-150 and a 2011 Ford F-150 are different, but the good news is that you should be able to keep the same brake controller and just swap out the wiring adapter.
For example, if you have the Tekonsha P3 # 90195 brake controller you would be using the Wiring Adapter # 3035-P but for your 2011 F-150 you'll need the Wiring Adapter # 22292. Since these plug into the back of the P3 the same way it will be a pretty easy swap.
