Using Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller on 2019 Toyota Tacoma With Adaptive Cruise Control
Question:
Hello, I have a 2019 Toyota Tacoma Sport with adaptive cruise control. What electric brake controller do you recommend? I see the redarc had a comment about the adaptive cruise control having an issue? Thank you!

You will not have any issues using the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR on your 2019 Toyota Tacoma Sport. This is a high quality brake controller and I definitely recommend it.
Regarding the adaptive cruise control, this is not something that should be used while towing and doing so will create unsafe conditions. The Tacoma owner's manual specifically states under "Situations unsuitable for cruise control" that it should not be used when your vehicle is towing a trailer.
You will also need the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers # RED99FR for installation. This will plug into the port underneath your dash. If you would like a mounting panel for the installation of the control knob you can use the # 331-TPSI-002 which will fit the switch blanks in your Tacoma.
I have attached some review and installation videos for your reference.
