Parts Needed To Install Redarc Trailer Brake Controller On a 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser No Tow Package
Question:
Which 7-pin harness do I need to use with the Redarc brake controller? My FJ does not have the flat 4-pin coming out the back of the vehicle.

First you will need to add a T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118405 to your 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser. This will take care of the lighting for your trailer connection. The Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 will connect to the 4-way and give you the 7-way connector and additional additional wiring you need for installing a brake controller.
The Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR will come with the universal wiring harness needed to connect the wiring on your FJ. A Mounting Panel # 331-TPSI-007 will allow you to use one of the blank accessory covers on your dash to mount the controller.
