Best Multipurpose Ball Mount
Question:
Would like to carry this bike rack along with a double jet ski trailer. Looking to use the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount item # D210 to accomplish this. Will the Rocky Mount bike rack work on the upper receiver spot of the Curt mount while I pull the trailer?

Expert Reply:
The Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with 2" Receiver item # D210 has a 7,500 lbs towing capacity and will work great when paired up with your Rocky Mounts Bike Rack item # RKY10002. The top receiver portion has a 500 lbs tongue weight so you will have no problem using your bike rack and towing your trailer. I have linked an installation video below along with a diagram that shows the dimensions of this ball mount. You will also need the Tow Ready 2" Hitch Ball item # 63845.
I recommend adding the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches item # e98880 to keep your ball mount secured from theft.
