Suspension Enhancement For 2016 Jayco Precept 35S to Help With Sway

Question:

2016 Jayco precept 35s. I have already installed both front and rear stabilization bars and a front steering stabilizer. The motorhome still rocks when simi trucks go by. Is their any other products that can be installed to help the rocking and wind stability?

Even with anti-sway bars and a steering stabilizer, some of these big Class A motorhomes like yours can experience some sway, and there is more you can add to your 2016 Jayco Precept 35S to help out, which are SumoSprings. The correct fit for both the front and rear axle of your motorhome are the following:

- Front: SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs # SSF-170-40-2

- Rear: SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs # SSR-180-54-1

SumoSprings work really well to counteract sway on motorhomes like your Jayco because they engage as needed, and compress based on the amount of weight being transferred. So when you encounter that heavy crosswind, or a truck goes by and your motorhome starts to rock, the SumoSprings will take the brunt of that weight to stabilize your rig.

So the overall handling of your Jayco is going to improve, and you'll even notice it when turning, as it isn't going to have the pronounced body roll due to the SumoSprings engaging.
