Will Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Brakes Fit in Place of Regular Dexter Trailer Brakes
Question:
My question is this, can I replace the present brake assembly on my fithh wheel trailer with Part #23-459? I believe the present assembly on the trialer is a Dexter #23-106-09 and I am planning to change out all four brakes. I like the idea of having automatic adjusting brakes on the trailer.

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, if you are currently using Dexter brake assembly # 23-106-09 then you can use # 23-459 (right side) and # 23-458 (left side). Keep in mind that with Nev-R-Adjust brakes you will need to make an initial adjustment. After that you will not need to adjust them again. I have included a link to a video that explains how to do the initial set up.
