2019 Chevy Traverse Sunroof Clearance with Thule Roof Rack Installed

Question:

I am wondering if I will still be able to open my sunroof on my 2019 Chevy Traverse with these rails installed, either in the tilted position or fully open position. Also, are the rails pictured the factory raised side rails that are referring to on the product page?

The rails on your 2019 Chevy Traverse are the raised rails so the 53" WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711420 and Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401 will be what you need. If you also wanted to add locks to the roof rack you can do so with the Kit # TH450400.

When we installed this roof rack on a 2019 Traverse we found there is 2-1/2" of space from the top of your roof to the bottom of the crossbars. This should be more than enough room for you to open up your sunroof but you can double check this on your end since we know what the clearance will be.
