How Does Trailer Wiring with Two Wires Attach to Single Wire Light Assembly
Question:
Just purchased new side lights for my utility trailer. Old lights had 1 wire connected to the brown and grounded thru the bold to the frame. New lights have 2 wires 1 red, 1 black. Which goes where?

You'd need to determine the positive and negative wires of the assembly and then connect them accordingly to your trailer. The ground would need to run to the mounting hardware of assembly and the other would run to your trailer's power wire.
