Dimensions Of The Dexter Replacement Shoe Centering Spring For 12-1/4 Electric Brake Assemblies
Question:
How long are these end-to-end? These look identical to one of the upper springs on my hydraulic free-backing 10inch drum brake assembly. Mine measures 3.5. Need replacement since it broke on disassembly. Thanks.

I went out to our warehouse and measured the Replacement Shoe Centering Spring for 12-1/4" Electric Brake Assemblies # BP07-195, and measured 2-3/4" from end to end, and 3/4" tall.
Since we do not have the exact replacement for you, the best option is to replace your braking assemblies.
You can check out # 23-428 for the left hand assembly, and # 23-429 for the right hand side.
These braking assemblies will work great with standard hub and drum assemblies, and measure 12-1/4" in diameter, 2-1/2" wide, and will work with axles rating 7,200lbs.
I have also included a couple of product overview videos for you to check out as well.
